Building Community: How EBMC Properties Celebrate Connection

At EBMC, community isn’t just something we manage — it’s something we build.

Across every EBMC property, our teams work to create more than just well-maintained spaces. We build communities — places where residents feel connected, supported, and proud to call home. This fall, that commitment to community came to life through a series of events and celebrations that brought residents, staff, and local partners together in memorable ways.

From a BBQ in Reno to a festive Trunk or Treat in Las Vegas, EBMC teams across the region have proven once again that meaningful property management extends far beyond paperwork and maintenance — it’s about connection, compassion, and care.

Community Spotlight: Marvel Way Apartments, Reno, NV

The residents and staff at Marvel Way Apartments recently gathered for a community BBQ that brought people together for great food and even better company. Hosted by The Empowerment Center, the event featured donated meals and a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone could relax, share stories, and connect.

For residents of Marvel Way, this BBQ wasn’t just about hamburgers and sunshine — it was about creating a sense of belonging. Events like these remind us that connection is a vital part of community wellbeing, and EBMC is proud to support partnerships that strengthen that bond.

EBMC’s local teams continually look for opportunities to partner with community organizations that make a difference. The Empowerment Center’s involvement highlights what can happen when management and residents work side by side to build a stronger, more supportive community environment.

Halloween Fun at Walker House Apartments, Las Vegas, NV

Over at Walker House Apartments in Las Vegas, the Halloween spirit was in full swing with this year’s Trunk or Treat celebration! Residents, staff, and local organizations came together to host a fun and safe event for families — filled with creativity, candy, and community pride.

The event featured special guests and partners including the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the Fire Department, LensCrafters, Asylum and Hotel Fear Haunted Houses, and the Discovery Children’s Museum. With cars decked out in spooky (and silly) décor, kids in costume, and plenty of treats to go around, the evening was a glowing example of how EBMC properties foster connection and joy among residents.

Events like this not only build community spirit but also strengthen partnerships with local organizations that care deeply about neighborhood wellbeing. At EBMC, we believe collaboration like this helps create environments where residents feel safe, supported, and valued.

Office Culture in Action: Reno’s Halloween Spirit

The celebration didn’t stop at our properties! The EBMC Reno Office embraced the Halloween season with a creative decorating contest that filled the office with laughter, teamwork, and spooky fun.

From imaginative decorations to friendly competition, this annual tradition reminds us that the sense of community we strive to build in our properties also thrives within our teams. When employees feel connected and appreciated, that positive energy naturally carries into the work they do for residents and property owners every day.

These moments of togetherness reflect EBMC’s broader commitment to cultivating a supportive and enjoyable workplace culture — one that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and care.

The Heart of What We Do

At the end of the day, what makes EBMC special isn’t just the properties we manage — it’s the people. Every BBQ, community event, and office celebration reinforces what EBMC has believed for over four decades: that strong communities start with genuine connection.

Our teams continue to demonstrate that property management is more than a business — it’s an opportunity to make a difference. Through every partnership, every event, and every shared moment, EBMC is building more than just great places to live — we’re building communities that thrive.
