Jennifer Bearse, General Manager for the Beacon Commercial Owners Association in San Francisco, which is managed by EBMC, was recently awarded the designation of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) by the California Association of Community Managers (CACM).
In order to be certified, Ms. Bearse successfully completed an intensive educational curriculum, which included instruction in community association law, financial management, operations, communications, and ethics. In addition, a standard of practical experience in the community association management had to be achieved prior to certification.
Jennifer Bearse has been working for EBMC at the Beacon since February 2010. Ms. Bearse joins the rest of EBMC’s Bay Area Community Managers in San Francisco, Novato, and Rohnert Park, who all hold the CCAM designation.
Ms. Bearse is shown in the attached photograph, at Mt. Whitney in California, at 13,600 feet – an adventure that certainly prepared her for community association management!
