Reno, NV, October 10, 2010: IT Specialist/Trainer, Sherry Brown of the Reno Office has just completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications with a concentration in Web Design and graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA from American Intercontinental University (AIU).
Ms. Brown has been with EBMC since May, 2004 and has been the primary trainer for the Apartment/Single Family Division, including our conventional and affordable properties. Her goal with this degree was to enhance the training web site and training materials she creates. She has over 20 years experience as a trainer and independent Yardi consultant.
Ms. Brown has been accepted at AIU’s Master’s in Education program starting in January 2011 and will be continuing her education, concentrating in Educational Technology. “This will allow me to create an even better curriculum for our site managers and staff members, by employing the newest technologies and techniques available today. If we want to stay on the cutting edge of the industry, we must embrace change through education and technology.” Ms Brown remarked. “We have some of the best people in the industry, who are hungry for further education. My job is to help them become even more knowledgeable. I feel the best way to do that is to learn even more myself. I’m really excited about continuing my education and being able to share that with my EBMC family!”
