Carra Clampitt Attends California Association of Community Managers - Advanced Budgeting for Community Managers

On August 18, 2011 - Carra Clampitt, CCAM, CMCA, attended the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) class on Advanced Budgeting for Community Managers. The 4 hour class focused on in depth and complicated budgeting for common interest developments.

The topics included understanding the Board's assessment levying powers and the impact to budgeting, reviewing and being able to explain financial management concepts and documents, the foundations for budgets, differentiating between and calculating fixed and variable assessments, construction defect litigation and its impact to the budget and using the budget as a tool through out the year.

Attending and participating in the class was the last criteria that needed to be fulfilled in order for Carra to be recognized as an instructor of this class. Carra is currently a recognized instructor for other CACM classes - Ethics, Effective Board Meetings, Assessment Collections and now Advanced Budgeting.
