The Auburn Community Festival honored sponsors at Ceronix Inc.
recently, celebrating the success of the 14th annual local extravaganza
that celebrates harvest time and life in the foothills.
Sponsors enable the October festival to give away more than
$10,000 cash in giant pumpkin, scarecrow, costume and recipe contests.
This year a 1,285.5-pound pumpkin broke the all-time Community Festival
record, and earned the Goodrich family of Meadow Vista $2,000, thanks to
Norma and Kathleen Harris of Harris Industrial Gases and other
sponsors.
