On Saturday, October 8, 2011, Carson Lanes Retail Center, located at 4600 Snyder Lane in Carson City, Nevada hosted its 1st Annual - Bowling for Boobs. The event helped to support BreastCancer.org and was a big success.
There were door prizes, a silent auction and food specials held throughout the evening at Johnny Rockets, Alley's Diner,11th Frame Bar and Wally's Pizza and Sub Shop.
The 11th Frame Bar started off the night in style with pink drinks and Dancing for Boobs. By the end of the night, the center had collected over $5,000 for BreastCancer.org. Sponsors for the event included Carson Valley Inn (CVI) and Nevada APA.
The Center was packed that evening with bowling, dancing and billiards as the community came out to support the event. Four generations of the Burger Family turned out for the event (photo right). Two-year old Lex Whitfield, Eugene and Shirley's grandson, also bowled and landed his first ever strike.
