Tom Connell

Tom Connell is the District Manager for the San Francisco office of the Eugene Burger Management Corporation.

Prior to becoming the District Manager, Tom worked in the San Francisco office for four years managing a diverse portfolio of properties including both High Rise and Mid Rise Buildings, Commercial Condominiums and buildings of mixed use. Through collaboration and successful problems solving, Tom has assisted communities in obtaining loans for large scale projects, finding the right professionals to assist with seismic retrofit, and coordinating legal counsel for sensitive community matters.

As the District Manager, Tom’s responsibilities include overseeing the management of all properties managed from the San Francisco office, including those in his own portfolio. He works with the portfolio managers, and all support staff in his district, to effectively serve the clients needs, and provide a high level of service consistent with Eugene Burger Management's corporate values.

Tom moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 2009 after a 25 year career in the Real Estate industry in Reno, Nevada. During his time in Nevada, Tom was a real estate associate for REMCOR Real Estate where he served both as a residential property manager and a licensed sales agent. Tom later joined Reno Property Management as a Property Supervisor, managing Community Associations. During his association with Reno Property Management, he collaborated in marketing their residential management services, substantially increasing that portion of the business. Tom was also instrumental in helping develop Reno Property Managements’ Brokerage business and developed a solid reputation working with both buyers and sellers in both residential and multi-family transactions.

As a member of the Reno-Tahoe Association of Realtors, Tom served on the Grievance Committee for 5 years and was Chairman for two years. In addition, he was a member of the Publication Committee that put together the local Realtor magazine. Tom wrote articles related to real estate for the magazine and worked with the committee on both the design and distribution of the magazine.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in Communication.

He is a Certified Community Association Manager® (CCAM ®) from the California Association of Community Managers®,and holds credentials through CCAM ® with both a Portfolio Community Management Specialty Certification (PM®) and High Rise Community Management Specialty Certification (HR®) He regularly attends continuing education classes including Ethics, Fair Housing, Risk Management, and California Community Association Law.
