June 29, 2011 - Nancy Hoyer joined EBMC in September 2010 as the Payroll/Timekeeping Assistant. In June 2011, Nancy was promoted to Director of Payroll and Benefits responsible for the continuity, integrity, and process discipline of the company's Human Resource functions. Nancy's HR and Payroll experience is equal to approximately thirty (30) years beginning with the Emporium as a HR Generalist and Manager; and most recently with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company where she was primarily responsible for leading the payroll process nationwide.
Throughout her career Nancy has participated in various HR and Benefit related seminars through World At Work; is a member of the American Payroll Association (APA), its local San Francisco Chapter and the Society of Human Resources (SHRM).
EBMC is honored to have Nancy fill EBMC's Director of Payroll and Benefits position. This position plays a vital role in EBMC corporate structure as it is the point of contact for HR and benefit programs for its 500 employees located in California, Nevada and other western states.
