April 23, 2011 - Eugene Burger Management Corporation (EBMC) sponsored the 3rd Annual Sonoma County Public Library Foundation Fundraiser - Chew On This. The Bay Area's brightest literary stars were present to support the Sonoma County Library's programs and services. The event was held at the Santa Rosa Central Library in Santa Rosa, California.
In these economic times, libraries across the county are feeling the pinch financially and EBMC was delighted to participate in this local event. It was an evening that perfectly captured the "FUN" in fundraising. The singular mission of the Foundation is to raise money for the Sonoma County Libraries and we were delighted to have been part of this successful evening.
Fourteen (14) local authors dined with avid readers for scintillating conversation. Karen FitzGerald, Carra Clampitt and Bill Gillis of EBMC dined with author Dianne Jacob and other donors.
