EBMC Launches Online Business Directory to Maximize Its Value to Clients and Enhance Service Provider Relationships

Over the years EBMC has fostered working relationships with a wide array of talented, hard working, credible service providers such as; general contractors, handymen, housekeepers, landscapers and arborists, painters, roofers, asphalt, concrete, pest control, carpet cleaners, carpet replacement, plumbers, electricians and much more.

This knowledge has served EBMC well as the breadth of its resources has grown immensely.  One problem we discovered recently was that there was no central place for our clients (and their customers) to go when searching for a service provider other than possibly the telephone book, internet or personal recommendation. 

EBMC's new online Business Directory launched in June 2011 provides a vehicle for clients (and their customers) to network with service providers serving EBMC and/or one of its many clients.  This win-win situation is just one way EBMC works to help give back to the community it serves.  Service providers provide a valuable service to EBMC clients and customers and we continually nurture this relationship.  

It is not uncommon for a service provider to go above and beyond the scope of their work or even exceed a client's expectations. Service providers recognize that service is everything and in order to be given the opportunity for future work they must be mindful of customer service and get the job done right the first time. 

As an example,  a $76,000 cedar shingle staining job had to be redone by a contractor because an incorrect product was used. During the meeting held at the site with EBMC representatives, stain manufacturer and painting contractor it was clearly evident that there was no quick fix and the job had to be redone.  As unfortunate as the situation was, the contractor agreed to redo their work at no cost to the client.  This resulted in a win-win situation for the client and the contractor. Though very painful for the contractor at that time, the contractor has performed many more jobs for EBMC clients over the years and for our client we avoided potentially costly litigation. This is just one example of the valuable relationships EBMC has built with the service provider community.
