Press Release Affordable 50059 Properties Complete EIV Training

RENO, NV, JANUARY 20, 2011: IT Specialist/Trainer, Sherry Brown announced that 27 front line staff completed the self-paced AFF110 EIV Training course at EBMC University.

The Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) system is a newly implemented HUD program to verify current and potential residents eligible for Section 8 housing programs.

The terminal performance objectives (TPO) met were to survey the current level of understanding; introduce new HUD rules and regulations; identify reports and retrieval timing required; identify processes and procedures required; introduce concept of EIV Clarification Record to identify and resolve discrepancies and complete the final exam with a 60% or better.

This EIV training course was designed with two specific outcomes in mind: To prepare site staff in compliance matters and to introduce staff to the new learning management system (LMS). The new LMS came online at EBMC on October 11, 2010. The first course was rolled out on October 19, 2010. Response has been positive from site staff, property supervisors and senior management.
